State of Decay : Year One Survival Edition (Xbox One) Review

Are you ready to survive? Most zombie enthusiasts have asked this question many times thinking about a zombie apocalypse. Zombies have a huge following and inclusion into all popular forms of entertainment – from comics, novels, television shows, movies, and video games. Zombies in today’s entertainment are very popular and have been around for a long time. It looks like they aren’t going away any time soon. State of Decay is a zombie game that focuses on base and community building, survival tactics, stealth and going through the world during a zombie apocalypse more than actual zombie combat. State of Decay originally released in 2013 on XBOX 360 has now been re-released in 1080p as State of Decay : Year One Survival Edition for XBOX One, with three playable options to select in the game. The first option is “State of Decay”, which is the main campaign, second is a sandbox style of play and the third is additional story and campaign. Plenty of tools for Sur

Goat Simulator (Xbox One) Review - Fun, Goofy and BAAA!!!!D

Goat Simulator was first released on the PC last year on April Fool’s Day and if you ever played it you know just how fun, how goofy and how bad the game is. It’s not any different on XBOX One. The game still has very similar boxy graphics and many glitches but can still be played for hours. If you have never played it, give it a chance and be surprised at how fun it can be. You start your “campaign” which is really just your Goat roaming in an open world and destroying as much of the city as possible. As you go around one of two city levels you can headbutt gates, cars, people, furniture in homes and gain points and combos while doing so. There is more to it than destroying the city though, as your goat is also able to wall climb, jump on trampolines and even ride bicycles. I never thought I would say it but Goat Simulator makes you want to see just how crazy your goat can get and so far my favorite is to try ramming the farming combine and seeing how far your goat

Disney Infinity 3.0 Figures Leak including Olaf, Mickey, Minnie Mouse and 8 others

Without a doubt, Disney Infinity 3.0 is happening. First images have now apparently leaked for figurines of the third game showing us characters like Mulan, Sam Flynn and Quorra from Tron Legacy, Olaf from Frozen, Mickey and Minnie Mouse along with all five of the main characters from the latest Pixar/Disney Film, Inside Out, will also be among the new figures. The leak comes in from a Chinese retailer, Taobao, originally spotted by Disney Infinity fan site, InfinityInquirer , who have now removed the article as per a Disney Interactive request. Disney is still tight lipped on the main theme of DI3.0 which is still rumored to be Star Wars but nothing has been confirmed yet on that front.

Disney Infinity - Toys, Toys, I love Toys!

"Toys, toys, I love toys" was a five word chant I would say as I marched around the house with my one and a half year old son because of all of the toys he had accumulated. I am very much to blame for it as I collected all of them and then his interest grew even more the older he got. As we continued to collect Disney Infinity toys he would continue to keep up the chant and march around the house. Now he even plays with the toys without having the game turned on. The Disney Infinity Series has been a really good two in one service for our household, especially now that we have the Marvel Superhero's to "save" any other toys in distress. On some nights we have all the characters out and about in a makeshift city with all the Superhero's playing a role to save anyone in danger. He is now two and a half, I on the other hand and twenty nine years old and still in collection mode. As we get closer to an announcement of Disney Infinity 3.0, I listed all the f

Shiftlings (Xbox One) Review - a game of strategy, fun, gas and infinite shifting

Shiftlings is a platform game developed by Rock Pocket that follows two alien janitors. The janitors are part of a reality TV show, attached by an air supply hose and a whole lot of gas. The opening sequence shows one of the janitors finding a fizzy drink and downing it causing all the farting throughout the rest of the game. Your objective throughout the game is to climb and maneuver your way through a series of obstacles, doors and portals while collecting items and avoiding death to you and your partner. As you work your way through the level, you open up the portal to the end point and must reach it in order to move on in the campaign with each level becoming more difficult than the last. Shiftlings has been a very hard game as a single player while you need to control two players. One wrong press of a button can cause you to pass gas through one janitor to the other and ultimately inflate the suit causing him to fall over, thus starting your quest back thr

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious (Free Until April 10)

On March 27th Playground Games and Microsoft Studios released a standalone game, Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious. Every XBOX One and XBOX 360 owner can download the game for free until April 10th. Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious is only free until April 10th but after playing for about an hour and a half I realized I won’t need much more time to complete the entire game and successfully unlock all achievements, netting the 1000/1000 score. The total amount of time to complete this game is about 3-5 hours depending on your driving skill. Most of the achievements are story related or task related; one achievement in particular entirely depends on your skills for combo chains as a Forza driver and a little luck to go your way to achieve a 50,000 point score. The game itself is great. The graphics are what we have come to love from the Forza franchise and the sound of each car revving up or the side swipes your car makes with another just as you
