Playgrounds, was recently announced by Saber Interactive. and it promises to bring us the traditions of old-school
arcade basketball games that we have loved in the past like NBA Jam and NBA Street. NBA Playgrounds will release in May of this year.
The game is officially licensed by the NBA, and will be including retired NBA all-stars like Allen Iverson along with today's biggest players.
All NBA teams are also featured in NBA Playgrounds, while the entire roster of "current and retired" players can be leveled-up.
If this is like the traditional old school games of the past, be sure to see big heads, super dunks and incredible passes.
