Performance Designed Products is well known for their Afterglow line of products and we were fortunate enough to get our hands on a second Afterglow Prismatic Product. This time it was the PDP Afterglow Prismatic AG 9+ Wireless Headset for Xbox One. Here at Infinite Reviews we put it to the test by playing several games (online and offline) as well as watching several action, suspense, horror and children TV Shows and Movies. We also took an in depth look at the design, getting all touchy, feely to see how it felt in our hands and on our head and check out the volume and noise cancelling features.
All of this is always a factor in our decision of rating a headset and whether or not we are recommending the Xbox One Headset to the public.
It was a fun day in the Infinite Reviews House when we first received the package from PDP. The package contained an Afterglow Prismatic Controller as well as a Halo Wars 2 Banished Controller and the Afterglow AG 9+ Wireless Headset.
We tested the headphones for three weeks through three different sets of heads/ears as Kouli from Kouli Kollector, Mommy and myself watched tons of movies, tv shows and played video games, both online and offline to truly see the quality of the PDP Wireless Headphones. As with most headphones, anyone would want to get the best look/feel, best bass, best surround sound feeling as if you are about to lose yourself in the temporary world you have stepped into.
The Afterglow PDP Wireless Headphones have full color customization just like the remainder of the PDP Afterglow line which can be done with the free Xbox One App.
The sound quality is incredible on the Afterglow AG 9+ Wireless Xbox One Headphones and there are features to lower the sound on the chat or game right from the headphones. You can also contain a well balance in both chat and game sound if you wish. The outgoing sound is great too as we checked in with our online friends to ensure they hear us clearly during any online combat.
The Afterglow Prismatic AG 9+ Xbox One Wireless Headset is highly recommended by us at Infinite Reviews especially for the price point of these headphones. The color features are fantastic to have and very different from other headsets. The sound on this pair of headphones shows you that you don't have to cough up an arm and a leg for other more expensive headphone products. The comfort feeling is there and has you leaving the headphones on for a long, extended time without really noticing anything is on your ears. The look is sleek and stylish.
