Sega announced a new release date for the currently delayed 2D Sonic adventure, Sonic
Mania. The Sega game which was originally supposed to come out earlier in 2017 will now be due out on August 15, 2017.
Sonic Mania celebrates
classic SEGA Mega Drive and SEGA Genesis eras of Sonic the Hedgehog titles
featuring all-new Zones, bosses to battle, and the ability to
play as Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. All of this at 60 frames per second.
Sonic Mania will be released on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch on August 15th.
A pre-order trailer is displayed below to showcase the
new release date, and it features some great music and art that packages the whole aesthetic the game is striving towards.
