Early Owners of NBA Playgrounds Nintendo Switch To Receive Shaq Fu For Free


NBA Playgrounds developer Saber Interactive confirmed through a press release that anyone who purchased NBA Playgrounds on the Nintendo Switch before the online update which is still pending will get a free copy of Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn which launches on the Nintendo Switch this fall.

Below is the statement released by the developer - Saber Interactive:
“We had every intention of launching online play for NBA Playgrounds on Nintendo Switch within days of release, but, despite our best efforts, it didn’t play out that way,” said Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber. “We sincerely apologize for the delay and want to let everyone know the fix will be coming very soon. But words are cheap, and games are not. So we’re giving everyone that bought NBA Playgrounds on Nintendo Switch before the online play patch hits a free copy of Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn on Switch when it is available this fall to express our gratitude.”

Destiny 2 Confirmed by Bungie

A week ago there seemed to be an unofficial confirmation that Destiny 2 would return to consoles through leaked marketing materials but yesterday Bungie cleared the air and has officially announced the release of Destiny 2 on their Twitter Account. Destiny 2 will release on September 8 as seen in the leaked marketing material below but it is unclear if the BETA of the game will be a PS4 exclusive and when the BETA will actually launch. As we get closer to the summer, more details on the BETA and the actual game will release.
