Pokemon Go is quickly coming up to its one year anniversary, and the developer Niantic has announced multiple live and in-game events to commemorate the occasion.
June 13 Pokemon Go is kicking off the Solstice in-game event, which makes Ice and Fire type Pokemon such as Charmander, Cyndaquil, Lapras, and other Fire and Ice Pokemon easier to find.
Players will also earn extra XP (experience points) for performing certain actions like throwing Poke Balls accurately. Lucky Eggs will be discounted and available for 50% off from the in-game shop.
This event will go for for one week and endon June 20.
In July, Niantic will host the first official live event called Pokemon Go Fest.
