Microsoft has added three new shooter games to the Backward Compatibility program today. Third-person shooter Red Faction: Armageddon is on the top of the list this time, with the remainder of action coming from Raiden IV & Konami's Gyruss.  Red Faction: Armageddon will also be free on August 16, 2017 as part of Xbox Live Games with Gold. 

EA officially announced The Sims 4 for consoles today after there was a store leak of the Xbox One version of the game on Xbox.com. The Sims 4 will be arriving three years since the PC version was released. The Console version will hit on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with all of the same features that are playable on PC. You will still get to enjoy all of the home building, character customization, relationship development and careers you have known to come with the PC version. The Sims 4 will launch on November 17, 2017 with pre-order goodies also hitting the real world for us to enjoy. EA Access Members on Xbox One will get to enjoy early access of the game and also be able to play a Trial version of The Sims 4 prior to buying the EA title.

D23 Expo occurs every year around this time which hosts a slew of news on upcoming movies, television and of course the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Theme Parks. This year there was a lot of information on the upcoming refurbishments to Walt Disney World in particular that has been running for over a year now and will be set to conclude in 2021 for Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary. This update following the D23 Expo announcement and plans for the future is surrounding the news around The Great Movie Ride. Plans for the cinematic ride are to close it down on August 13, 2017 and begin work to replace it with Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Current details of the ride are that Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway will be 2 and a 1/2 D since there won't be any need for 3D glasses. There will be more hidden Mickey heads than any other existing ride at a Disney Park and it will revolve around the Mickey Mouse Cartoons currently on the Disney Channel. Th

The Dragon Challenge at Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida is trending this week. The dragon themed steel coaster with two interlaced tracks will close for good on September 4, 2017. A new Harry Potter themed attraction will take its place in 2019. Telltale Games has confirmed that the second episode in the Guardians of the Galaxy series will be released in the month of August. The new episode will focus on the relationship between Star-Lord and Gamora, while also showcasing the tension between Gamora and her sister Nebula. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Episode Three is going to be called More Than a Feeling, after the famous Guardians of the Galaxy song, and will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, & mobile devices on August 22, 2017.
