Guarding The Galaxy

Guarding the Galaxy returns for Episode Two - Under Pressure as we have a quick recap of the previous episode and how things ended off for Star-Lord. As we return we are reminded quickly why this game was such a rocking experience the last time around with the tunes to hit our ears as we see our main character, Star-Lord is alive and well. Once the leader of the Guardians takes to his feet, your friends, Groot, Gamora, Drax and Rocket Raccoon are all shocked at what they have seen.

Within the first chapter of Episode Two - Under Pressure, we are faced with the decision to visit an experience from Rocket's past. The past of Rocket Raccoon is filled with love and despair as Star-Lord stands there listening to Rocket's story. Rocket reveals his love and his past history with the experiments placed upon him. He shows he is a very smart individual by creating a mini computer to escape his predicament. Without revealing too much more of the story we can see the character growing and showing emotion from his past to build to what we know as Rocket Raccoon today.

Controls/New Features

New controls were introduced in The Guardians of the Galaxy. The D-Pad for Star-Lord gives him the ability to be able to fly. Hitting the  LT (Left Trigger) will provide you a way to answer and and reach out on your communicator. Along with those additions we can now more faster with the RT (Right Trigger). Controls are more advanced and a little more difficult than in previous TellTale Games Titles as we have fighting sequences with multi button selections and you need to be quick on your feet or you will get beaten up.

The obvious new feature this time around is the ability for the user in control will also from time to time have control of all of the Guardians of the Galaxy and not just Star Lord. In previous TellTale Games titles we only controlled one primary character unless it was a flashback sequence as in The Walking Dead.

Audio/Visuals

Guardians of the Galaxy The TellTale Series Episode 2 - Under Pressure is a true cinematic adventure rather than a video game with all the updates in graphics and seamless cut scenes. The best part of this new series has to be the licensed music we get to jam out to. Music is a very important part of Star-Lord's life in the cinematic and comic book world and it was transitioned perfectly to the video game world as seen in the first two episodes.

Conclusion
Guardians of the Galaxy The TellTale Series Episode 2 contains tons of action, incredible classic tunes and a fun experience for all of the TellTale fans.

Guardians of the Galaxy The TellTale Series Episode 2 - Under Pressure can be finished in about 100 to 120 minutes and there are a few decisions to make in this episode that will leave you to jam out to more. As always, try out the episodes multiple times to get the full experience with multiple outcomes.

Guardians of the Galaxy The TellTale Series is highly recommended and is available now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Check it out here.
